Heartland District Hawaii trip

SIGN UP FORMS

 8 days / 7 nights     $825+ airfare

1 space left for a boy

Daily high temperatures average 80 degrees.  Evening low temperatures average 65 degrees.  Hawaii is tropical - meaning there is rain almost every week.  Hawaiian rains are generally very short and last only a few hours.

Warm tropical breezes, the clear waters of the Pacific Ocean and incredible sunsets make Hawaii the ideal place to relax and enjoy the sun.

Rich Polynesian culture, aloha spirit, sun, surf and sand:  Hawaii has something for everyone!

Your trip includes lots of different activities, plus time on the beach - near our hotel.

The island tour includes stops at Iolani Palace, Pali Lookout (where King Kamehameha’s final battle united the Hawaiian Islands) and a Haleiwa surf town. You’ll see the big waves at Pipeline and Sunset Beaches where the pros surf.  HPIM0011.JPG

You take a ride on a catamaran in Waikiki Bay and experience a bit of history with a visit to the USS Arizona Memorial in Pearl Harbor.

You enjoy wonderful group meals at restaurants like the Hard Rock Café and, of course there is the big Luau party.

Play a little beach volleyball and see all kinds of fish on our snorkeling trip.  The views of the island from the top of Diamond Head, an extinct volcano, are spectacular.

100_0542.JPG   The international marketplace, just a short stroll from our hotel, offers ideal shopping bargains on Hawaiian shirts, necklaces and other souvenirs.  Learn a few words in the Hawaiian language and about Hawaii’s history.

Spend the evenings at our group dinner outings, and socializing with other students from all over the world.  Watch Pacific sunsets while listening to Hawaiian music.

This is the trip of a lifetime!

Flight Information Explore America Hawaii 291.JPG

The tour does not include airline tickets.  You may not purchase an airline ticket until YFU has granted permission for you to travel and you have reserved your space.  Airline tickets must be paid for at the time of purchase and are non-refundable.  It is the student's responsibility to either purchase a ticket or ask us for assistance. We do not automatically purchase flights for a student.

You may not purchase an airline ticket until YFU has cleared you for participation and your space has been confirmed.

Airline tickets must be paid for at the time of purchase and are non-refundable.

Students are met at the airport from 11 am until 11PM, but the earlier you get to hawaii the more time you will have on the beach.

Students are sent back to the airport about 2.5 hours before thier flight times. Most students will fly home after 5 PM on overnight flights.  You may leave earlier, but do not choose a flight where you are sleeping in an airport waiting for a change of planes; sleeping on the plane is normal.
