New York is a true memory-maker.

Flight Information

You may purchase airline tickets yourself, or we can assist.  There is no charge for assisting YFU students with airfare.  You may not purchase an airline ticket until YFU has cleared you for participation.   Airline tickets must be paid for at the time of purchase and are non-refundable.

Chaperones and Explore America staff will be at the airports for flights scheduled to land between 11 AM and 5 PM.   Those arriving earlier  will have to wait- we prefer that you arrive within the time window though. You  may not arrive late.

If you depart earlier we will get you to the airport, but will not be able to assist you with check in.  Note that because you go to the airport 2 hours before departure earlier departures may miss breakfast.   If you depart later you risk getting stuck in on your own.

Airfare is generally cheaper when purchased ahead of time.  Airline tickets are nonrefundable, and should only be purchased after all permissions for travel have been obtained.   It is generally cheaper to but 1 "multi city" round trip ticket than 2 one way tickets.  Kayak, Orbitz, expedia, travelocity or your local travel agency or we can can all arrange tickets to do this.
